The Creek Fire is finally 100% contained. Fire officials with the Sierra National forest said the fire around Big Creek, Huntington Lake, Shaver Lake and Mammoth Pool was declared 100% contained on Christmas Eve. Brush Fire 12.28.2020

A brush fire burned about 100 acres in the California Valley late Christmas Day. A travel trailer caught fire on property near Ginger road and Belmont Trail. That fire spread into vegetation and grew to over 100 acres before firefighters contained it around ten Friday night.
